Your Kingdom nature — Your Kingdom nature assumes something is “good” because the creator of that something has intrinsic qualities that are favorable. That leaves the answer to the question of whether or not you are good, to the objective evaluation of the one who created you, God. God’s word says He is good. He created you in His image and covered you with the goodness of Jesus Christ, therefore you are a good person. Additionally, your works are good not because they produce favorable outcomes but because they have within them the intrinsic qualities of God, who created you and does His work through you.
( Philippians 2:12-13Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (ESV) )
