Congratulations! You have not only just completed Lesson 4, but you have completed Part 1: The BASIC Leader’s course! You are now qualified to plan and start your own Traction discipleship discussion group!
So, if you are excited and optimistic about starting your own Traction discussion group at this point, go ahead and follow the processes we’ve outlined in Lesson 4, and begin your Traction discipleship discussion group.
Once you get your group all invited and you are ready to begin your first week of the Traction discussion group (see Week 1 in the Leader’s Guide for Traction Group Discussion Questions), review Lessons 2 & 3 (just as a reminder of what and how you should be doing it), and then conduct Week 1 of your first discussion group.
What follows here is a recommended schedule for completing the rest of your Discipleship Leader’s training course, while you go through the process of leading your first Traction discussion group (of course, you are welcome to complete any of the remaining lessons ahead of this schedule if you so choose):
Between Week 1 discussion group and Week 2 ( of the Leader’s Guide for Traction Group Discussion Questions), we encourage to complete Lesson 5 and Lesson 6 of the ADVANCED Leader’s Course.
And then between Week 2 and Week 3, we encourage you to complete Lesson 7 and Lesson 8.
And then between Week 3 and Week 4, go ahead and complete Lesson 9.
Before you conduct the Week 5 discussion group (the last Week’s session in the Leader’s Guide for Traction Group Discussion Questions), we encourage you to complete Lesson 10.
After you have completed all the Weeks (1-5) of the Leader’s Guide for Traction Group Discussion Questions with your group, then complete Lessons 11 and 12.
Once you have completed all 12 Lessons and also have also completed conducting all 5 weeks of your first Traction discussion group, you will have completed the entire ADVANCED Leader’s Course, and you will be allowed to complete the certification process and become certified by the b4worldview Traction organization as a “Certified Discipleship Leader!”
As a Certified Discipleship Leader, you will be allowed to be registered in our international registry of Certified Discipleship Leaders and thereby recognized as a fully qualified Discipleship Leader! You will then have our support and access to our staff to help you as you conduct other discipleship discussion groups using both Traction and whatever portions of the Bible you and your church might desire to use in your ongoing discipleship ministry!
